Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries laced with liquorice are followed by some vanillin cedar, dried meats and pepper. Juicy flavours of ripe dark cherries and liquorice overlay vanillin cedar and pepper characters. Soft fleshly mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, liquorice, meaty cedar and pepper. A soft easy going red for drinking in the short term.

Tasted Jan. 22. It's the perfect time to release this wine from our cellar. The vibrant, mint flecked fruit has mellowed. Red fruit and a creamy texture provide the drinking pleasure here. Very good value.
