Deep colour; a vinous incarnation of Cherry Ripe, with an extra flourish of dark chocolate and licorice. If this were made/labelled by a boutique winery, it would be greeted with roars of applause, not a yawn, by sommeliers.

Ripe, berry-fruited scents, shows some choc-cherry and cola notes, anise, dried herbs. Quite a potent perfume with plenty of character. Juicy, fleshy-textured, ripe fruit, smooth cedary oak character, powdered choc-tannins. Lovely feel, lush, generous, rich, dense. Has it all.
