Officially launched in 2006, this 10-year-old lies at the heart of the Isle of The Arran range. It exudes all the honeyed richness that is associated with the island distillery. The Arran 10-year-old is a fresh and vibrant expression of the Arran malt with all the hallmarks of the classic island style. Vanilla and citrus notes dominate to create a smooth and mellow taste. The Arran is the only distillery on the Isle of Arran and a proudly independent Scottish Company. Independently owned...independently minded.

This is one of the best whiskys for the price

My preference is for malt whiskys which can be very expensive .So when you find one that you like the taste of at the right price you kind of have to stick to it . Strangely I tend to prefer 10 year old malts to the older more mature ones.

I am not so sure why I keep buying 10 years because most of them are really not so tasteful and not smooth. Which is exactly what this Whisky is. I do not taste a Major flavour in this whisky and it is got quite a stong kick in the finnish
