Ripe berried fruit, dusty tannin, enough length, a sense of shape. This is in a good place. Cabernet clearly makes its presence felt but bursts of plum-shot fruit give a nod to the cuddliness of shiraz. Ultimately it's a wine that is easy to recommend.
