Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

There's good intensity in this pepper flecked, chocolate-tinged, dark-fruited shiraz. The Penfolds magic is obvious, even at this level, and the mellowing benefit of cellaring is clearly seen. Released after a few years in our cellar programme, this is a wine of character and generosity of flavour, and is sure to keep its many fans happy.
