Feels lavish, slippery, generous in ripe, sweet, mushy berry fruitiness, licked with hints of spice, sloshes through the palate well and finishes with breathy, raspberry-mint characters.
Mayer Dr Mayer Pinot Noir is an ample, warm, rich, soupy-textured pinot noir of the ‘come hither’ mode. Feels lavish, slippery, generous in ripe, sweet, mushy berry fruitiness, licked with hints of spice, sloshes through the palate well and finishes with breathy, raspberry-mint characters.
Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
