About this product

Sigersdorf Vineyards in the Barossa Valley is managed sustainably with hand-pruned vines, dry-grown in a blend of red ferric and deep alluvial clays over broken limestone and sand. Their 105-year-old age means the vines are low-yielding, producing superb fruit concentration in flavour. 100% hand picked, the fruit was naturally fermented in an open top fermenter for 22 days with only hand and foot plunging. The wine was matured in large oak French puncheons for 18 months before being blended and bottled without finings or filtrations. Rich black, purple, and blue fruits with complex, concentrated flavours, balanced oak, and tannins. Enjoyable now and built to age gracefully.
