Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

26 months in French and American and while only 15% of this oak was new, it's left an obvious trail. Coconut, peppermint and clove notes are ever present, but so too rich plum/blackcurrant and ever-so-velvety texture. Swings and roundabouts, the finish then flushed with fruit and fine-grained tannin. Just give it (more) time for the various components to get to know one another better.
