Lovely grenache of density and verve, unadulterated by whole bunches or new oak. Bright purple- red and loaded with red and black fruits, chalky crunchy tannins and plenty of length. It's lip-smacking and refreshing and ready to go.

The venerable 70 year old bush vines on the the famous Burton's Vineyard, situated on the Willunga Plain, have long produced grenache of the highest quality. Careful crafting by multi-award winning winemaker, Paul Gordon, has resulted in a classic McLaren Vale grenache showing great finesse and structure. Our notes read, "Fresh and vibrant red and blue fruit, garrigue savoury edge, avoids sweetness, fine, savoury tannins, very well executed - pretty bloody good!".
