Sammi' by Dutschke is from the 1978 Cabernet Sauvignon block on the St Jakobi Vineyard in Lyndoch and only released in exceptional vintages. A generously flavoured wine that´s been aged in new and one year old French hogsheads for 19 months. The oak characters compliments and marries into the wine´s sweet fruit superbly. Wonderfully flavoursome varietal characters of blueberry and blackcurrant.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
