21% sauvignon blanc, 19% each of chardonnay and gewurztraminer, 16% riesling, 13% pinot gris and 12% pinot noir, each fermented for a short time on skins, open-fermented and hand-plunged, matured in French oak for 14 months, 185 dozen made. This is in a class all of its own, succeeding where the Cloth Label Red failed, textured and balanced, with a field of flowers in its flavour spectrum. I'm not persuaded by the price, but I can visualise a likely market target that happily will. Go north, young man.
