Loose knit, plush and funky/modern. Delicious drinking, and this is something for everybody. Has concentration, plunging depth and power all melded with deliciously unforced silky structure. This is the best Mclaren Vale Shiraz we've tried in a very long time.

Primarily from Ulithorne’s 65yo dry-grown vineyard in Blewitt Springs, hand-picked, cooled overnight, open-fermented, basket-pressed to used French oak for 17 months. Manages to up the tempo of Familia without falling prey to Parkerism. Both black and blue fruits join hands with a touch of regional chocolate, the tannins fine in best Blewitt Springs style, oak no more than a conveyance.
