Located in Oregon's northern Willamette Valley, J. Christopher Wines is a small winery whose philosophy is to produce wines in an Old World style that emphasises focus, length and balance. Its owned by Jay Somers and run in partnership with Mosel legend Ernst Loosen. The Nuages Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir has a fine, mineral-infused aroma, with a juicy grip on the mid-palate. It has a fine purity to it, with excellent balance, an elegant texture and finishes with sweet, lifted fruit.
