A highly polished example of Barossa Cabernet, dominated by red fruit on the bouquet, and a healthy dose of new oak; the essence of the wine lies in the tightness of the palate; the ample fine-grained tannins and tangy acid pull the fruit to a long, fine and even conclusion.

Long chains of tannin but it maintains a healthy, juicy appeal. You could easily drink this now, even if it doesn’t yet have much in the way of developed flavour. Pure blackcurrant, sweet malty oak, boysenberry and even some red, almost raspberried notes. The latter helps keep a fresh face on the wine. Substantial wine.
