About this product

For the Clarendon Hills Astralis Shiraz 2003, the grapes were handpicked and fermented with natural yeasts in open stainless steel tanks at temperatures up to 32°C. Maturation was in 100% new French oak barriques for 18 months before bottling without fining or filtration. Astralis Shiraz is the flagship of the Clarendon Hills Shiraz Range.

If correctly decanted, it’s great

Smells pretty strong and the first notes are also strong, something reminds cherry and the texture of a peach but just the texture on the first notes. Then it gets smooth and feels softened while swallowing it.
