About this product

The name Gaja needs no introduction to lovers of Italian wine. Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja the estate is today run by his great-grandson, Angelo Gaja with his daughters Gaia and Rossana playing a major role in the business. This Barbera Nebbiolo is garnet in colour with an expressive floral nose with notes of red berries, plums, licorice and spices. The Nebbiolo in Conteisa reflects the essence of the Cerequio terrior: sumptuous texture and a very refined character with perfectly integrated tannins.
