About this product

The name Gaja needs no introduction to lovers of Italian wine. Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja the estate is today run by his great-grandson, Angelo Gaja with his daughters Gaia and Rossana playing a major role in the business. Located in the southwest subzone of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation, the Pieve Santa Restituta estate was acquired by the Gaja family in 1994. The estate’s original forty acres of vineyards are located in the southwest subzone of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation.
