Geantet-PansiotBourgogne Rouge Pinot Fin 750mL
About this product
Third generation vigneron, Vincent Géantet heads this Gevrey-Chambertin based domaine, farming 12 hectares of vines up to 65 years of age, in the North of the Côte de Nuits, covering the appellations of Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Marsannay. A very fresh and clearly quite ripe nose features a pretty mix of mostly red berry fruit aromas cut with attractive earth and spice hints, both of which can also be found on the rich, round and relatively generous middle weight flavours that possess good depth and reasonable length. This is agreeable already and while it's forward, it's definitely not simple and about the only nit is a subtle touch of back end warmth. This Pinot noir is worth a try.
