About this product

The Geantet-Pansiot vineyard was founded in 1954 when Edmond Geantet married Bernadette Pansiot. The newlyweds settled in Gevrey and started to exploit their 7-acre vineyard spread on both Gevrey-Chambertin and Bourgogne designations. Little by little, Edmond bought other vines in order to widen his vineyard. Then his son Vincent naturally joined the business in 1977. This family vineyard now run by Vincent Geantet and his son Fabien which has a reputation that goes far beyond Burgundy borders, gradually gained acres, 10 acres of Gevrey-Chambertin in 1991, an acre of Chambolle Musigny First Growth in 1994, and more recently a plot of Gevrey in 1999. Classy and delicate, Geantet-Pansiot's wines are extremely flavoured, intense and with deeply fruited aromas. They run their vineyard in the respect of the vine and its terroirs, which makes them one of the greatest vineyards in Burgundy.
