Domaine LarocheChablis Les Clos Grand Cru
About this product
Domaine Laroche is a Fine Wine producer in Chablis since 1850. Domaine Laroche has 1.12 hectares of the Grand Cru Les Clos. This vineyard was formerly all surrounded with walls hence the name “Les Clos”. We know from historical sources that the Monks of St Martin of Tours planted vines here in the 9th century. Les Clos is located straight in front of the village of Chablis with a southern exposure. This favourable sunny exposure allows grapes to achieve excellent ripeness. The soil is well drained. Good balance of ripe white fruit and lively acidity. Exceptionally long finish with vibrant minerality. Elegant and long-lasting.
