About this product

Made in the traditional style with dark plum and spicy prune characters, its full, but lean and dry with a savoury finish. Barbera is versatile, able to go 'formal' for a braise of beef or as easily as a barbeque.

If you like something with an earthy nose, oak, star anise, chocolate with pretty raspberry colour. It is the barbera you can count on.

To be honest, I was underwhelmed by this wine. I ordered six as I like this style and received the 2015 vintage. The wine was one dimensional and really lacked depth when I tried the first bottle. I let the second bottle breathe for longer
