Splendidly refined and impressively complex, the wine shows creme de cassis, plum, cedary wood, cigar and floral characters on the nose with nuances of vanilla and warm spice. The palate is concentrated and wonderfully weighted, displaying excellent depth and richness, while remaining poised and structured, backed by fine, chalky tannins. Gorgeously styled and engaging. At its best: now to 2030.
