Javier chose to name the brand Calo after the Gypsy language of northern Spain to signify the freedom he felt in creating modern wines, free from the limitations and restrictions of tradition.

Medium bodied red wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
