About this product

Fifth generation Rioja winemaker created Calo as a modern and fruit driven expression of Tempranillo, a contrast to the heavily oak-influenced wines traditionally made in the region. Javier chose to name the brand Calo after the Gypsy language of northern Spain to signify the freedom he felt in creating modern wines, free from the limitations and restrictions of tradition.
