On certain vintages, Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe also use certain casks not selected for the first-label blend. A Châteauneuf-du-Pape seriously dominated by Grenache, which confers very singular suppleness and roundness. Best savoured young.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
