Dry, Full Bodied style of Cabernet BlendBased on Cabernet, Sassicaia is one of the first Italian reds to be made in the image of Bordeaux. In the late 1990s Sassicaia was granted its own DOC, the only wine from a single vineyard to enjoy this privilege. Intense, concentrated and deep ruby-coloured, this wine offers elegant, complex aromas of red fruit. In the mouth, it is rich and dense, yet harmonious, with sweet, balanced tannins. The wine by Tenuta san Guido has a long finish with a depth and structure that ensure its extraordinary longevity.
