Domaine Bernard GripaSaint-Joseph Rouge
About this product
Domaine Bernard Gripa has been around since 1930 first as growers and then as a Domaine with their first commercial release in 1974. Bernard?s son Fabrice took the reigns in 1993 after spreading his wings in Australia working with the likes of Steve Pannell. Production is split 50/50 white to red with St Peray Blanc a personal mission. There is a casualness to the wines reflective of their maker but a connection to the steep slopes of the appellation comes through with a careful and considered hand resulting in perfectly balanced, superb representations of what Northern Rhône should look like. Great example with this Shiraz.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
