About this product

Located in the heart of the Mâcon wine region, Domaine de Rochebin is situated at an altitude of 450 m, on a hilltop overlooking the Saône plain, close to Azé. The domaine was created in 1921, but was only dedicated exclusively to viticulture from 1972. Today, 4th generation vigneron Mickaël Marillier works 46 hectares of vines, along with his wife, Marie-Pierre, and Laurent Chardigny, who became their partner in 2008 to handle vinification. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, with grass cover in the parcels.

Bright crimson purple in appearance, with an abundance of blue fruits and dark cherry aromas. Very lively and structured on the palate, combining richness with a supple backbone of velvety tannin. A plump and structured Pinot with plenty of flavour and generosity.
