Genesis Syrah 2006

Castagna Genesis Syrah (first vintage 1999) leapt into Langton's Classification of Australian Wine in 2010, as soon as it hit the statutory 10–vintage requirement, reflecting the following it had already achieved in the auction market. It may well be the most important single–vineyard Australian Shiraz since Henschke Hill of Grace. Castagna Genesis deserves a place in any comprehensive cellar of Australian red wine.
