Another great vintage from Tumba!!

Very classy chardy at this price point. Has a strong cashew nose with just enough fruit to see it through. Has potential for ageing and I would suggest keeping a bottle or two until 2023 or thereabouts.

The 2016 is as good as any earlier vintage, I have been a devotee of Barwang's Chardonnay for as long as I can remember. Excellent value for the style and a wine that maintains it's character year on year. I will be stocking up on the 2016

It has a colour of light straw with a green hue around the edge. On the nose a little damp cut grass and caramelized white meringues, there is also some oak lurking in the back ground. Nice pungent cantaloupe melon up front, then some Tahit
