McGuiganThe Founders Cabernet Sauvignon
About this product
The grapes used in this McGuigan The Founders Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from the iconic McLaren Vale Region. It shows the regional characteristic of rich dark berry and stone fruit notes on the nose. The time spent in oak maturation gives the savoury characters to the wine. Combined with the earthy and smooth tannins on the palate, creating a balanced and approachable wine to enjoy now or for careful medium term cellaring.

This is an exemplary Cabernet, and we may have sold it short by saying merely that. Boasting leafy, classic blackcurrants, elegance and class as far as the eye can see, it has real depth and classical fine tannins. The power and presence here are far greater than what you might ever have expected.
