Dry, Medium Bodied style of Pinot NoirBurgundy, FranceLocated on the Vougeot side, a touch further down from the Vosne-Romanée 1er cru 'Les Suchots', this 31-year-old vineyard is on a shallow and gravelly clay and limestone soil. That gives rise to a little vine stress, giving the Tardys a limited crop of small, very ripe and concentrated berries. This delivers a mouth-filling Pinot noir, with beautiful flavours combined with ripples of smooth tannins.
