Dry, Light Bodied style of RieslingThis site directly by the river is exclusively owned by the Dönnhoff estate. It features ancient rock with clay slate bedrock, covered by a layer of loess loam and has a perfect microclimate for great noble sweet Riesling wines. The vines are between 25 and 35 years old and yield rought 45hl/ha. 100% selective hand harvest. The musts are fermented and the wines matured in stainless steel vats. This is a Riesling with spicy ripeness and intense fruit. It's very complex with a wonderful balance between ripe fruit sweetness and classy acidity.

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
