About this product

The family-owned (seven generations) Taupenot-Merme domaine has been worked organically since 2001. Brother-and-sister team Romain and Virginie are typical of the new generation of Burgundy winegrowers making the most of priceless family vineyards with sensitive viticulture and wine-making. This Pinot noir shows lovely deep plum and strawberry fruits with masculine perfume and earthy ferrous minerals. The palate has lovely poise and balance, fine firm tannins with velvety fruit structure and a persistent finish.
