This is made from a blend of grapes grown in the Heathcote, Goulburn Valley and Geelong (Werribee) wine regions. It’s made in the lighter, bistro style … though its quality is better than that. It’s only light-to-medium bodied but it’s spicy and charming and chewy through the finish. It tastes of cloves, cherries, eucalypt and plums and while it’s not heavy, it’s has beautiful freshness and balance. Love its chewy tannin. The love tangy finish. There maybe some smoky, reductive flavours here too but given some air, it drinks very nicely.
