Tasted Jan. 22. Early reviews cried out that this would have a long future. 13 years on and the call was correct. This is a special wine at the peak of its powers. Provenance is important here - Florita being the most famous riesling vineyard in the land. Still wonderfully fresh with brisk ginger acidity and orange blossom, ruby grapefruit, jasmine, layered and charming. With only the very early signs of age, this shimmering star will continue to please for years.
