Distanced from the maddening bustle of Chianti Classico, the Tenuta di Capezzana is the vanguard Estate in this small zone west of Florence, specialising in wines of ineffable elegance and style. Befitting Capezzana’s rich tapestry of history, this fourth generation Estate is still very much the fiefdom of the Contini Bonacossi family. Juicy and silky with sweet cherry fruit complemented by subtle notes of dried tea, provencal herbs, game and fine dusty Tuscan tannins that add freshness and food friendliness.
