The rich palate has great depth and intensity of flavour with pure blackberry, cassis and raspberry fruits and cedar mocha oak derived flavours accompanying the fruits. The wine has a long finish with a powerful tannin structure and lingering fruits. A classic big Australian Cabernet Shiraz style.

Sits comfortably in the hierarchy of the present Brand's releases, over-delivering on its price in the same fashion as the others. There is a precision to the delivery of the fruit into the mouth, sweet blackcurrant and blackberry fruit coming first, polished tannins bringing up the rear; in between, the line is fluid and unbroken, the integration of fruit, oak and tannins seamless. All up, it's a seriously nice wine.
