The 2020 vintage of this western Victorian Nebbiolo is right in form. If you have deep red coloured roses in your garden you will recognize the bouquet immediately. As expected, it is a medium-bodied wine, balanced all the way, and with varietally classic piquant, savoury cherry notes, hints of licorice, dried herbs, mint, and a tiny bit of chocolate. All of this is swept along by a fine carpet of earthy tannin. An excellent food wine, and one that is a pleasure to drink on its own.
