Fresh blackberry and blueberry are complimented by hints of bay leaf and star anise.
Palate: Juicy and ripe dark red fruits abound. Black cherry, deep plum and mulberry meld effortlessly with crisp tannins and vibrant acidity. Don’t be afraid to chill me in summer.

Similar vinification to its Sangiovese stablemate. Eye-catching in the glass with its intense, deep purple hue. Aromas of blood plum and dried herb, and then a mouthful of flavour, soft as it rolls around the tongue but becoming quite firm towards the finish. It's simple but full of character - I'd drink it with bread, olives and cheese.
