Very upfront and typical of what you see from the La Rosa vineyard. Familiar aromas and flavours for fine Barolo of cherry, florals, leather and spice. Orange peel and vanilla oak are certainly there but secondary to the nicely developing fruit flavours that still have youthfulness bursting through. Very fragrant, medium weight although with upfront flavour driven long with softening tannins and fresh regional acidity of the north-west. This wine will partner very well with an array of red meat dishes that demand a wine of substance.
