About this product

This Frontera Carmenere has red plums and spice aromas on the nose. It is fruity, soft and rounded on the palate. Excellent food matching with pasta, cheese and or heavier dish such as grilled chicken.

Excellent, easy to drink red. The first time I have tried this grape and I was not let down. I shared it with two other mates and all of us were impressed.

Can't fault this Carmenere...there are not many on offer here in Australia so a good one under $10 is sensational. There's more in it than the $7 Luis Felipe Edwards on offer at Aldi. Not only that, it's lower in alcohol at 12.5% ABV.

This wine is really nice. I feel relaxed after drinking it. Very pleasant, yet, it’s not a Reserva. It doesn’t reach that status. Worth having on your shelf.
