About this product

Established in 1998 Vérité is a super-premium wine producer based in California’s Sonoma Valley. The estate is a collaboration between visionary wine pioneer Jess Jackson and artisanal vigneron and winemaker Pierre Seillan who have joined together to produce several micro-crus reflective of the multifaceted hillside terroirs of the Sonoma Valley. Vérité produces three micro cuvées: La Muse, the original Pétrus-challenger based on Merlot; Le Désir, a St-Émilion-inspired blend based on Cabernet Franc and Merlot; and La Joie, a Pauillac-styled blend built on Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are vinified in separate small batches and then transferred to new French oak barriques for 15-18 months. After some months the wines are assessed and blended and returned to oak for further maturation to soften and integrate. No fining or filtration is used.
