40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

Rich oak notes shaped this 40 Year Old masterpiece from Balvenie. Malt Master David Stewart has skilfully married together small amounts of Scotch Whisky matured in 4 refill hogsheads and 3 sherry butts that have lain in the warehouses for at least forty years. Resulting in baked apple, stewed fruits like characters with soft leather. A silky smooth texture with a beautifully coating in the mouth. Sensational.

TASTING NOTES: Orange blossom, candied ginger and a honeyed sweetness, followed by oak, mouth-coating vanilla notes and a delicate, sherried fruitiness.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve neat or with a couple of drops of water (to bring out the flavours).
