A wave of gorgeous, deeply flavoured sweet, chocolate tinged, dark cherry and blackberry fruit has immediate impact. The wine is instantly attractive, and demands further investigation. Its fifteen years are not obvious, as succulent, loose knit, primary fruit still holds sway. Warm, exotic spices, oak derived cigar box, ultra fine dried herbs, along with cocoa powder notes all contribute to the party. Stylish, and refined intensity is what you get. Thoroughly wonderful, and with a long way to go! Another cellaring triumph!
