From vineyards in the coolest parts of the Barossa Valley, and the fruit has many of the markers of appropriately cool-grown cabernet, with a twist of black olive to the blackcurrant fruit; while the new oak percentage isn't very high, French oak has lent support to the varietal expression, the fine, savoury tannins likewise. Impressive stuff.
