The extraordinarily scenic Marlborough Sounds, in Maori the Sounds represent the sunken bows of Aoraki, the canoe that is Mt Cook, are full of gems – great food and wine and world famous trout fishing. Marlborough Sounds Chardonnay displays bright flavours of pear and nectarine, backed by minerally notes. There is a lovely subtle touch of oak which is reminiscent of freshly baked bread. Fresh and vibrant, there is complexity and length.
