Ingoldby McLaren Vale Shiraz is deep red in colour with purple hues. Red berries and plums on the nose, a spicy, peppery, plummy palate with good length of flavour and a smooth, lingering finish.

This is a great value for money wine. Have been buying it for over 30 years. Shame on Dan Murphy’s for deleting it from Burwood Brickworks shelves. Luckily, IGA stock it at a competitive price.

This Shiraz is quite light and fruity. When I first sipped, I thought it was a Cabernet Sauvignon. Other than the initial surprise, it is quite a good red for the price.

Current Vintages, 2013, 2014 & 2015 are all deep and rich in colour. Full bodied, mouth filling, smooth, velvety and voluptuous! Recently tried a 2009 Vintage 'Cellar Release' - and it was absolutely amazing!!!!

The 2012 vintage has a mouth warming flavour, deep colour and fruit flavours that are reminiscent of a much more expensive shiraz. Thoroughly recommended.
