CampbellsBobbie Burns Shiraz 2013
About this product
Deep dark red with purple hues. In the magnum format the wine is showing primary fruit and youthful characters. The nose has real depth, almost brooding, dark plums and blackberry perfectly integrated with the more elegant characters of black pepper and aniseed, a hint of spicy oak sitting in the background. This wine is full bodied with mouth filling plum and mulberry fruit yet the palate is beautifully structured with layers of fine tannin and complementary characters of liquorice ironstone and cocoa. A wonderful vintage that will age gracefully in the magnum format.

Richness and personality. Excellent release. Blackberry, iodine, leather and toast, with musky notes adding an extra layer of appeal. Grainy, earthen tannin gives it an authoritative stamp. Excellent value.
