This wine is not about vintage characteristics but much more like a prism of the Calvarino terroir. Between 2008 and 2012 10 hl of each vintage was set apart and, unclarified, aged on the lees. After blending it was aged for five more years as a reference to the time it took to build the new cellar. Expected life span of this wine is up to 40 years. 7,000 bottles produced. Perfumed nose with acacia and orange blossom with a breadcrumb and chamomile layer underneath. Salty, minerally and lemony on the palate with green-peach notes and long, ripe, focused acidity. Closes up on the finish and it is set to age for decades to come.
