About this product

Marqués De Riscal Tempranillo displays dark cherry, with violet hues. Beautifully fresh nose of black forest fruit, liquorice and toasted nuances brought on by the oak casks. Good balance between fruit and ok on the palate, medium bodied with lovely soft tannins.

I prefer European red wines especially in summer as they're not as heavy as Aussie reds. This is by far my favourite tempranillo

i am not a red wine drinker and have tried many as they are better for you than white wine but this is the only style that i can drink that does not taste like medicine to me and is smooth on the palette.

Having visited the vineyard in Spain a few months ago i was keen to taste again. Was not disappointed. Lovely eligant example of the variety and still good va even at Australian prices.
